What cryptocurrencies are currently supported?

We support the following cryptocurrencies (sorted by ticker order e.g. Ripple is towards the end of the list with ticker XRP) to map to a domain name to make payments easier:

Will I be able to transfer my domain?

Yes. The domain is stored in your cryptocurrency wallet and can be transferred by you after you claim the name on the blockchain with your wallet.

How will I be able to view a Blockchain Website?

You will need to use a mirroring service, a browser extension, or a browser that supports blockchain domains.

Will I be able to search and find Blockchain Domain Websites on Google or other engines?

Major search engines do not currently index blockchain domain websites. For now, you will be able to search for them at unstoppabledomains.com and app.angoname.com that integrate our search bar, or on blockchain apps that index blockchain domain websites.

Are Blockchain Domains part of ICANN/traditional DNS?

No. Blockchain domains are what’s called alternate roots. They are not part of the current DNS.

Will there be some sort of 'whois' record with my personal information associated with my domain?

Not by default. Sharing ‘whois’ information is opt-in i.e. something that you can choose to do if you want. Otherwise, your identity will not be publicly known.

How do trademarks work with Blockchain Domains?

Trademark holders with proof of ownership can apply to claim ownership of trademarked names. If a trademark name has already been sold, then it will be refunded. Note - this process ends once domains have been distributed. Unstoppable Domains does not have the ability to move a domain once distribution has occurred.

How do payments work with my Blockchain Domains?

Add your bitcoin, Ethereum, and Zilliqa addresses to your .zil or .crypto domain inside of the ‘my domains’ section at unstoppabledomains.com. When someone types yourname.zil into a supporting wallet, the wallet looks up that domain on the blockchain, finds the appropriate address, and sends to the address associated with that name.

Does Angoname provide you with a wallet?

Yes, but only for holding your blockchain domains. In order to send and receive cryptocurrency using your domain, you will use wallets that have integrated our software. You are also able to use your own self custody wallet to hold domains.

How to connect wallets on the Angoname market?

First, you may head to https://app.angoname.com/ and search the domain name you wish for in the search bar.

Secondly, you need to connect your wallet. Connection through Metamask and Walletconnect is supported.

Don't forget to sign your confirmation if you choose to connect through Metamask extention

How to purchase domains on the Angoname market?

Search the domain name you wish for. Please note that you are only able to buy the domain name which is available.

In order to buy the available name, click on "unstoppable domains" to proceed with your payment.

"Add to cart" the domain name you would like to purchase.

Finalize your purchase by clicking on "go to cart" to make a payment.

There are now four payment options available for you. Choose the most convenient for you.

How to check what domain names you own?

First, you need to click on "My domains".

Now, all your purchased domain names appear.

How to resell your domain names on the Angoname market?

Click on the domain name you would like to resell in your "My domains"

Then, click on "Sell"

Input the price you want to sell. Please make sure that you have enough ETH to pay for the gas fee. Afterward, click "Sell"
