Configure your browser for Blockchain Domains

Custom URL (Blockchain domains) with Unstoppable Domains

Once you have configured your browser as per this guide you will be able to access .crypto Blockchain domains in 2 different ways:

1. http://domainname.crypto note http not https

2. domainname.crypto/ the forward slash is to override your browser’s search engine searching for the domain.

If you have the Unstoppable extension in your browser you will need to disable it to switch to DNS over https (which retains the domain name in the browser).

Chrome browser

1. Select browser settings from the menu in the top right of Chrome.

2. From the Settings menu select Privacy and security > Security > Advanced section and set Custom URL as https://resolver.unstoppable.io/dns-query

You are all set now to resolve Blockchain domains in Chrome.

Firefox browser

1. Select browser settings from the menu in the top right of Firefox.

2. From the Settings menu select Options > General Tab > Network Settings > Settings section and set Custom URL as https://resolver.unstoppable.io/dns-query and click OK.

Brave browser

1. Select browser settings from the menu in the top right of Brave.

2. From the Settings menu select Additional settings > Privacy and security > Security > Advanced section and set Custom URL as https://resolver.unstoppable.io/dns-query
